Terms of Service

1. The service

FreeHosting lets you upload static website files and serves them on a web address we provide, for free. We may change, improve, or discontinue features over time.

2. Your account

You need an account to manage sites. Keep your credentials safe — you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the service.

3. Your content

You keep full ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you give us the limited permission we need to store your files and serve them publicly on your site's web address — that's the whole point of the service.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to publish it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to host anything illegal, or content involving malware, phishing, spam, harassment, or infringement of others' rights. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service or other users' sites.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Illegal content removal

We have zero tolerance for illegal content. Any content that is illegal — or that we reasonably believe to be illegal — will be removed immediately and without any notice to you. This includes, but is not limited to, child sexual abuse material, content that infringes intellectual property rights, stolen data, malware, phishing pages, and content that promotes or facilitates criminal activity.

We may remove such content, disable the site serving it, and suspend or delete the associated account, all without prior warning. Where required, we will report illegal content and related account information to law enforcement or other competent authorities.

6. Free service, fair limits

The service is provided free of charge. To keep it free for everyone, we may apply reasonable limits on storage, bandwidth, or the number of sites, and adjust them over time.

7. Termination

You can delete your sites or your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk. On termination, your hosted files are removed from our storage.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copies of your files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeHosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
